Since 1998, Hao’s Kitchen has been a cherished part of the Merced community, offering authentic Chinese cuisine inspired by the rich culinary traditions of Guangzhou, China. Our chefs, a talented husband and wife duo, bring decades of expertise, passion, and artistry to every dish they craft, ensuring each meal is a celebration of flavor, heritage, and heart.
Their journey from Guangzhou to Merced is reflected in every bite, as they pour their heart and soul into each dish, crafting flavors that remind them of home while sharing the warmth of their heritage with the community.
A Journey of Flavor
Before establishing their roots in Merced, our chefs honed their skills in the bustling kitchens of San Francisco, mastering the delicate balance between traditional Chinese cooking and the use of fresh, local ingredients. Their journey then took them to Arnold, California, where they successful ran their very own restaurant as a couple.
However, they soon made the heartfelt decision to relocate to Merced, drawn by the opportunity to connect with a larger community and access an abundance of fresh ingredients. Here, they’ve built lasting relations with locals who have become like family.
